rigging consultants FIEA Capstone Presentations 2014

The Florida Interactive Entertainment Academy (FIEA), a graduate video game development program at the University of Central Florida, will be demoing three new student games at UCF’s Center for Emerging Media on Aug. 1 at 2 p.m. The presentation is free and open to the public and will also be live-streamed at https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=7InB8....

The student games represent the culmination of more than 6 months of work by three teams of 15-20 students apiece and function as a student’s master's thesis. This will be the first time the games will be publicly presented in their completed states.

The games being demoed include “Neon Night Riders,” which fires nine players at light-speed into a race for control over the fiber-optic streets of cyberpunk Tokyo; “Hit,” a 3D competitive shooter that promotes betrayal among friends and suspicion at all times; and “Focal Length,” a first-person “shooter” that drops the player in the middle of an alien invasion with only a camera to capture, for live-TV, fleeting moments of action.

Faculty, staff and students from FIEA will be available to comment on any of the projects. Artwork is also available upon request.
